Trust lead

Make Beautiful worthy of the responsibility that representation creates.

You will make trust an operating discipline across Beautiful. This is hands-on work with the people building the platform: turn our founding principles into controls, evidence and everyday decisions that protect the represented. The standard is whether the system deserves reliance when the consequences matter.

What you will do

  • Turn the founding principles into clear requirements for capabilities and releases. Work with the team to prove that those requirements hold in practice.
  • Work with Platform and AI to define and test authority boundaries. Check that consent, delegation, revocation and recovery work outside the model.
  • Build proportionate assurance for different consequences. Make clear which claims are self-asserted, which have evidence and where uncertainty remains.
  • Examine privacy across collection, memory, sharing and retention. Help the team minimise data, preserve portability and make people’s choices effective.
  • Challenge new capabilities with realistic misuse and failure scenarios. Track the findings through to fixes and evidence that the fixes work.
  • Own the trust response to significant incidents alongside Success and Platform. Preserve the record, explain what is known and turn lessons into stronger controls.
  • Make consequential decisions and their evidence understandable to the people affected. Work with specialist advisers when a question needs expertise beyond the team.

You might be right for this if

  • You have worked where technology, policy and human consequence meet and can point to controls you helped make real.
  • You can reason about technical systems and use AI tooling to investigate, test and improve them without treating a model as the authority.
  • You know how to match assurance to consequence rather than adding the same process to every decision.
  • You are rigorous, curious and practical. You can challenge a design and help its builders find a better one.
  • You speak plainly about uncertainty and failure. You care about preserving evidence, learning from mistakes and earning the represented’s trust.

You can be based anywhere in the world.
