Platform lead
Build and run the dependable open foundations for infinite daily users.
You will be hands-on with AI tooling to build and ship platform capabilities and features, accountable for how they perform in production. Your job is to make sure performance, scalability, stability, security and simplicity hold up as we grow. We build on Cloudflare and you will make full use of its capabilities while keeping our foundations open and portable. This is a relentless pursuit of platform perfection, measured in how dependably it works for the people relying on it.
What you will do
- Use AI tooling to build, test and ship capabilities and features that make the platform faster, more secure and more dependable.
- Actively monitor performance at the platform's limits and use AI tooling to rapidly build and deploy enhancements that keep it scaling continuously.
- Make the most of Cloudflare across compute, storage, networking and security. Understand its limits and engineer around them.
- Own reliability in production: observability, safe releases, recovery and fixing the root causes of incidents.
- Build security into every layer, with authority explicit, bounded, verifiable and enforced outside the model.
- Keep simplifying. Remove unnecessary complexity and make the open foundations easy to understand, operate and build on.
